About Me

I’m a Seattle-area data scientist with two years of experience and a background in applied statistics.
I work primarily in R, but am almost as fluent in Python and its numeric libraries if needed.

I find the most interesting part of data science to be discovering things that no one knew before. There’s nothing more exciting than exploring untouched ground and telling other people what I found.

Outside of data science, my interests mostly involve music. While I enjoy all genres, I find myself predominantly listening to progressive rock, metal, jazz fusion, and R&B. I also greatly enjoy reading various scifi and comics.
